2008年12月28日,在上海市新一轮的公交改革背景下,上海浦东新区公共交通有限公司应运而生,成为上海市“2+N”公交企业框架中,市区的两家骨干公交运输企业之一。两年来,在浦东新区区委、区政府及相关部门的正确领导下,公司党委高举邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想伟大旗帜,认真贯彻落实党的十七大精神,以科学发展观为指导,紧紧围绕公司提出的“12345”企业发展战略,坚持改革不动摇,公交体制初步理顺;强化营运生产管理,确保了各项既定目标的实现和重大活动配套交通保障任务的完成;紧密围绕经营生产中心,发挥党建思想政治工作服务保障作用,企业的综合实力、社会效益显著增强。
