中国人以碳水化合物为主食,其高脂蛋白血症中2/3为高极低密度脂蛋白(VLDL)血症,研究VLDL在泡沫细胞形成中的作用,对了解我国动脉粥样硬化发病有实际意义。为此,作者观察了小鼠巨噬细胞与VLDL较长时间作用后细胞内胆固醇酯(CE)的变化及VLDL-CE进入巨噬细胞的途径。结果表明:正常人VLDL能促进小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞内CE堆积,VLDL中的胆固醇以完整脂蛋白分子或较大的残粒形式被巨噬细

The results showed that: normal VLDL can promote CE peritoneal macrophage accumulation in mice, VLDL cholesterol in intact lipoprotein molecules or larger residual form of macrophage
