In the analysis of Confucius and his thoughts, scholars in German-speaking areas often use comparative methods to analyze Confucianism and shape Confucius. They compare Confucius to the great thinkers and religious founders of European history such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and Jesus. This research model shows that researchers highly accuse Confucius and his thoughts.
