2007年3月6日央视五套推出《武林大会》栏目,旨在继续制造中国功夫的全方位传播效应,节目最初取得了部分观众的认可,并引起境外电视传媒机构的关注。但是,《武林大会》的文化传承价值要大于其商业开发价值,其对武术的传播亦仅留滞于探索性诠释阶段。从《武林大会》文化性阐释的内情可以反证,《武林大会》的审美预设需要虽然说已经无限地接近武术的本体,而其价值取向仍与传播学领域的中国武术有距离,《武林大会》中的诸多设计元素背离了中华武术的原始生命形态。武术仍和中国本土文化密不可分,武术和现代体育的一直处于一种两相抵触和难以兼容的状态。《武林大会》企图恢复武术的真打实摔的格斗景况,却颠覆了武术在戏曲、小说和武侠影视剧中的完美形象,促使武术的舞蹈性以及其所具备的动作的高度和谐的美感的部分流失。《武林大会》试图将武术作出现代文化性和商业性的双重诠释,却驱使中华武术走向新型的电视武术的文化新境地,这种新形式显然与古典武术形态产生了差异。
March 6, 2007 Five sets of CCTV launched the “Wulin Assembly” section aimed at continuing to create the full effect of Kung Fu in China. The program initially gained the approval of some viewers and attracted the attention of overseas television and media organizations. However, the value of Wulian Assembly’s cultural heritage is greater than the value of its commercial development, and its spread of Wushu remains only in the exploratory stage of interpretation. From the cultural interpretation of Wulin Assembly, the inner circumstance of the martial arts can be reversed. The aesthetic presupposition of Wulin Assembly requires that although its value has been approached to the noumenon of Wushu indefinitely and its value orientation is still far from the Chinese martial arts in the field of communication, Wulin Assembly "Many of the design elements deviated from the original life style of Chinese martial arts. Martial arts are still inextricably linked with Chinese native culture. Wushu and modern sports have always been in a state of conflict and incompatibility. The Wulin Assembly attempts to restore the martial art fighting situation, but subverts the perfect image of martial arts in dramas, novels and martial arts films and TV plays, promotes the harmony of the dance of martial arts and the actions it possesses. Lost Wushu Assembly attempted to make a dual interpretation of martial arts in modern culture and commercialization, but driven Chinese martial arts to a new cultural status of TV martial arts. This new form obviously had a different form with that of classical martial arts.
