Objective To understand the pollution status of Giardia and Cryptosporidium in drinking water in Jiangsu Province and provide a scientific basis for drinking water quality and safe water supply. Methods Twenty-eight water factories in 13 districts and cities in Jiangsu Province were selected to collect water samples of tap water, tap water and tap water (10 liters of tap water, 100 liters of tap water and tap water respectively) Filtration, washing, centrifugal concentration, immunomagnetic separation, fluorescence staining microscopy treatment, detection of Giardia cysts and Cryptosporidium oocysts content. Results A total of 84 samples of water samples collected from 13 cities in Jiangsu Province were collected, including 28 water samples from source water, factory water and water from the pipe network. Among them, both the Giardia cyst and the Cryptosporidium oocysts were not detected in the factory water and the water at the end of the pipe network. However, in the water source water of Yancheng (Salt Lake), Lianyungang (Roses River), Changzhou (Qianzihu) The positive rate of Giardia was 10.71% (3/28) and the density was 1/10 L. In the water source seized in Nanjing (Yangtze River), Zhenjiang (Yangtze) and Yangzhou (Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal) The out of Cryptosporidium oocysts, the positive rate was 10.71% (3/28), the density is 1/10 L. Conclusion Some jianti and cryptosporidium can be detected in the water of some areas in Jiangsu Province. There is a certain risk of safe water use. The hygiene supervision of water sources should be further strengthened to monitor the drinking water and ensure the drinking water safety of residents.
