陈先瑞1929年参加红军,1931年加入中国共产党,参加了土地革命战争、抗日战争、解放战争、抗美援朝战争,历任红74师师长、陕甘宁边区警备第3旅旅长、第38军副军长、第19兵团副政委等职。和平建设时期,任北京军区政委、成都军区政委等职。1955年被授予中将军衔,是第三、四届全国政协常委,第六届全国人大代表;是中共第九、十届中央委员,第十一届中央候补委员。
Chen Xianrui joined the Red Army in 1929, joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1931, participated in the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist the Aid and Aid Korea.
