从尖海龙中分得18个化合物，16个为首次从该动物中分得，其中11个为甾体化合物，cholestane-3，6-dione、cholesta-4-ene-3β，6β-diol系新天然产物。2－bydroxy-4-methyoxy-acetophenone为首次从动物药中分得的天然产物。
