著名编辑家王仰晨先生于2005年6月12日去世,享年八十四岁。从十四岁当学徒算起,他在印刷和出版行业工作了七十年。曾在上海、昆明、重庆、桂林、烟台、大连等地的印刷厂、书店、报社工作,历二十余年,做过排字工人、校对、编辑和工务主任等;从1943年参加新知书店到1956年调人民文学出版社工作并持续到离休以后,历时近五十年,任小说组组长、鲁迅著作编辑室主任等。经手编发《青春之歌》、《平原枪声》等小说作品,主持和参与十四卷本《巴金文集》、十六卷本《鲁迅全集》的编辑工作,协助童怀周编选、出版了《革命诗抄》和《天安门革命诗文选》。离休以后,主持编辑了二十六卷本《巴金全集》和十卷本《巴金译文全集》,主持和参与编辑了四十卷本《茅盾全集》之中的二十五卷及《瞿秋白文集.文学编》六卷。1987年4月获首届“中国韬奋出版奖”。作为资深编审,他在工作中与众多的作家、学者有通信联系。曾结集出版过《巴金书简——致王仰晨》一书。这里选录了唐、钟敬文、叶圣陶、黄源、赵家璧、楼适夷、杨沫、陈原、萧乾等人致王仰晨的部分书信,用以缅怀逝者,同时从中可以折射出这位老编辑的人生一斑。选入的信件按时间顺序排列,由海客甲提供并注释。
Mr. Wang Yangchen, a famous editor, died on June 12, 2005, at the age of 84. From the age of 14 as an apprentice, he worked in the printing and publishing industry for seventy years. He worked in printing, bookstore and newspaper in Shanghai, Kunming, Chongqing, Guilin, Yantai and Dalian for more than 20 years. He worked as a typewriter, proofreader, editor and chief engineer. From 1943 to the new bookstore 1956 tune people's Literature Publishing House and continued until after the retired, lasted nearly 50 years, as novelist, director of editorial office of Lu Xun and so on. He edited and published novel works such as The Song of Youth and The Guerrillas of the Plain. He presided over and participated in the compilation of fourteen volumes of the Ba Jin Collection and the sixteen volumes of the Complete Works of Lu Xun. He assisted Tong Huai weeks in editing and publishing the Revolution Poetry Copy “and” Selected Works of Tiananmen Revolutionary Poems. “ After the retired, he presided over and edited 26 volumes of the Complete Works of Ba Jin and 10 volumes of the Complete Works of Ba Jin Translated and edited and participated in compiling twenty-five of the forty volumes of the Complete Works of Mao Dun and the Qu Qiubai Anthology. Literature compiled ”six volumes. April 1987 won the first “China Tapping Publishing Award.” As a senior editor, he has many communication links with many writers and scholars in his work. Has published a book published “Ba Jin Shu Jane - to Wang Yang Chen,” a book. Some selected correspondence from Tang Yang, Zhong Jingwen, Ye Shengtao, Huang Yuan, Zhao Jiabi, Lou Shi Yi, Yang Mo, Chen Yuan, Xiao Qian and others to Wang Yangchen were used to remember the deceased while reflecting the old Edit the life spot.
