There have been no reports so far about the problem of young mice being too small in cage and limited in activity, and the decrease of calcium concentration in the bone. The author unexpectedly found in a research project that two groups of young rats were fed with the same diet with calcium supplements. After two weeks, the average weight gain of the young rats fed on the big cage was significantly higher than that of the young rats Of young rats; 5 weeks after sacrifice, measuring the femur calcium concentration, found that the average concentration was significantly higher than the former. Materials and Methods Twenty healthy wistar rats weighing 60 to 80 g were used in this study. They were randomly divided into A and B groups, with 5 male and female in each group.
