以前我与川蜀画家李昌彦艺友并不相识,今年初冬他到苏州美术馆举办个展时,我和他亲切交往多天直到他离苏,但事后我还常记忆着其人其画而挥之不去。在这方面可能与我俩从事花鸟画有关,所以情趣相契,加之我对他的佳作留下了深刻印象和他为人爽直大方,所以能一见如故。空余我就写了这篇短文,略表对他的一点感受和赏识。我认为一个画家的作品,画格是人格的投影,不是单纯依赖造型、构图、设色等
Before I was acquainted with Sichuan Shu painter Li Changyan, I held a solo exhibition with him during the winter of this year and went to Suzhou Art Museum for a long time until he left the Soviet Union. But afterwards, Not to go. In this regard, we may be engaged in the painting of birds and flowers, so the congenial deeds, combined with my masterpiece left a deep impression on him and he was straightforward and generous, so can see it. I wrote this short essay, a bit rough on his feelings and appreciation. I think a painter’s work, painting grid is the projection of personality, not simply relying on modeling, composition, color, etc.
