以前我与川蜀画家李昌彦艺友并不相识,今年初冬他到苏州美术馆举办个展时,我和他亲切交往多天直到他离苏,但事后我还常记忆着其人其画而挥之不去。在这方面可能与我俩从事花鸟画有关,所以情趣相契,加之我对他的佳作留下了深刻印象和他为人爽直大方,所以能一见如故。空余我就写了这篇短文,略表对他的一点感受和赏识。我认为一个画家的作品,画格是人格的投影,不是单纯依赖造型、构图、设色等 Before I was acquainted with Sichuan Shu painter Li Changyan, I held a solo exhibition with him during the winter of this year and went to Suzhou Art Museum for a long time until he left the Soviet Union. I think a painter’s work, painting grid is the projection of personality, not simply relying on modeling, composition, color, etc.
