风和日丽的初夏,在北京举办的首届“亚洲农业记者研讨会”活动中,笔者有机会与来自亚洲10个国家的记者先生、女士们朝夕相处了一周。他们中的多数人是头一次到中国,他们对北京的好奇、热爱心情,他们的不同性格、作风给笔者留下一个又一个难忘的印象。遵纪守时的“良民”本届研讨会的正式代表和公务人员近30人。用餐时,10人一桌。哪桌人到齐,哪桌先开饭。日本和新加坡客人总是准时来餐厅,先吃完先走人。而其他国家的记者,包括中方人员,则是陆陆续续,来得晚吃得也晚,有时后面的事也都拖拉了。对比之下,笔者对日本、新加坡记者由衷佩服。不时向他们伸出大姆
During the first “Asian Agricultural Journalists Symposium” organized by Beijing in the early summer, the author had the opportunity to work with journalists and ladies and gentlemen from 10 Asian countries for a week or so.
