Psychologists often associate divergent thinking with creative ability. In order to improve the quality of physics teaching and to cultivate creative talents in the new century, teaching should incorporate the specific content of teaching materials and adopt various methods to train students to think differently through various means. In the junior high school physics teaching practice, the author made some attempts and explorations. American psychologist Gilford believes that
