方玉1号是利用“REID黄马牙×唐四平头”杂种优势模式,以F411为母本、F438为父本选育而成的玉米杂交种。该品种2006~2007年参加内蒙古自治区中晚熟组玉米区域试验,2 a平均产量为12 468.0 kg/hm2,较对照哲单20号增产10.4%;2008年4月通过内蒙古自治区农作物品种审定委员会品种审定(审定编号:蒙审玉2008026号);2010~2011年参加承德市中早熟组玉米区域试验,2 a平均产量为11 725.5 kg/hm2,较对照吉单261增产13.3%;2012年参加承德市中早熟组玉米生产试验,产量为12 076.5 kg/hm2,较对照吉单261增产12.1%;2013年4月通过河北省品种审定委员会品种审定(审定编号:冀审玉2013026号)。方玉1号株型紧凑,茎秆韧性好,气生根多,抗旱性极强;结实好,不秃尖,高产稳产,品质优良;抗病、抗倒,适应性强;春播全生育期122 d,可在河北省、内蒙古有效活动积温逸2 650益的中早熟玉米种植区推广种植。
