Vasculogenic mimicry VM is a new concept of tumor microcirculation proposed in recent years. It is a kind of new tumor microcirculation which is formed by tumor cell deformation and extracellular matrix remodeling Species vascular access. Studies have shown that VM is not only crucial for the blood supply of some oncological diseases, but also closely related to their invasion and metastasis. Although the mechanism of VM formation and anti-VM treatment is still not clear at present, but the relevant research has made some progress. This article reviews the mechanism of VM formation in tumors and its potential role in anti-tumor therapy.
