江西萍乡市上栗镇胜利村“女民兵禁赌协会”成立后,充分发挥了女民兵在家庭、社会中的作用,从而促进了社会治安秩序的稳定。近几年来,胜利村少数村民染上了赌博的恶习。于是打架斗殴、偷鸡摸狗、邻里不和、夫妻闹离婚的现象时有发生,有的甚至走上了犯罪道路。村民兵营认识到,女民兵是家庭、社会的组成部分,必须把她们组织起来,查禁赌博,以约束家庭成员,促进社会治安秩序的好转。为此,民兵营于1988年6月2日成立了“女民兵禁赌协会”。女民兵们对赌博行为敢说敢
