新疆甜瓜是驰名中外的传统特产。随着我国社会主义经济建设的发展,无论在出口或内销上都对甜瓜育种工作提出了更高的要求。同源四倍体甜瓜能显著提高果实含糖量和抗病性,这是一个值得利用的优良性状。我们从1970年起进行甜瓜多倍体的选育,初步选出几个有利用价值的四倍体甜瓜类型。 一、试验材料和方法 供试的甜瓜品种有白皮脆、炮弹瓜、老铁皮、密极甘、红心脆及绿皮子(伯克扎特)
