有一个记者到全国财贸大会上采访,获得了几袋子材料。会后,他依此写了一篇一万多字的通讯《做生意的艺术》。由于正面直取,将题材所涉及到的一切都纳入行文中,使这一通讯写作失败。后来,作者分析所占有的材料,精心构思,从一万余字,数十个事例中拎出这样一个事实:在“文化大革命”中,“四人帮”在上海的爪牙将上海服装进出口公司设计的印有鸳鸯图案,畅销东南亚的床单视作封资修黑货,打入冷宫,勒令换上鸭子戏水的图案,结果床单出口没人要。现在重新设计出鸳鸯图案,又受到国外市场的欢迎,换回大笔外汇。以此写成著名新闻《“救活”鸳鸯换
