Preface In the cold rolling process, one of the most important variables is the effective value of the friction coefficient between the surface of the roll and the surface of the strip after the rolling piece bites. Due to the fact that it is difficult to measure this coefficient directly in laboratory conditions, the actual measurement difficulty in the industrial rolling production process will naturally be greater.
