1991年7月,巴彦淖尔盟乌拉特前旗一家2人及亲属3人,食用自制臭豆腐后发生中毒。年龄均在27～35岁,发病在食后最长为5天,最短为6小时,症状有轻重。临床表现符合肉毒中毒,经抢救及治疗均全愈。根据流行病学调查、临床表现、细菌学检验和毒素测定,证实为B型肉毒梭菌毒素所致。
