The US State Department said on Thursday (October 12) that the United States will withdraw from UNESCO at the end of next year so that unpaid dues will no longer accumulate, and that there is anti-Israeli prejudice against what it calls the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The issue shows the position. The US State Department informed the UNESCO on this morning’s decision that it hopes to continue participating as a non-member observer country. Such an identity will allow the United States to participate in discussions and activities, but will lose the right to vote on the issue. Before the United States made its exit decision, there was a long-standing conflict with UNESCO.
