菱锰矿层呈似层状,赋存于上二叠系龙潭组底部,以假整合覆盖在下二叠系白泥塘层顶部炭硅质灰岩的侵蚀面上的粘土岩中。层位稳定。厚度0—5米,一般2米左右。矿层由黑褐色、棕红色之粒状、砾状菱锰矿和粘土质菱锰矿组成,并常有黄铁矿结核。矿层直接底板为0.1—0.2米厚的灰绿色粘土岩或炭质泥岩,矿层直接顶板为0.2—5米厚的灰白色粘土岩,均含有黄铁矿结核。
The rhodochrosite layer is in the form of a layer and occurs in the bottom of the Longtan Formation in the Upper Permian. The rhodochrosite layer covers the clay rocks on the erosion surface of the carbon siliceous limestone at the top of the Lower Permian Pakitang layer with fake integration. Stable. 0-5 meters in thickness, generally about 2 meters. The mine is composed of dark brown, brownish-red granular, gravel rhodochrosite and clay-type rhodochrosite, and often has pyrite nodules. Ore direct floor is 0.1-0.2 meters thick gray-green clay rock or carbonaceous mudstone, the direct roof of the mine is 0.2-5 meters thick gray clay rock, both contain pyrite nodules.
