香鱼养殖要求水质清净无污染且水温较低。一些水质清瘦、基础生产力低下的山地湖泊、河流、水库及山涧溪流,均可进行香鱼养殖。人工条件下,幼香鱼(5～6cm)经过5～7个月的饲养,一般体重可达100 g以上。近几年来香鱼市场价格很高,生产性香鱼养殖逐步发展起来。下面介绍的育苗技术是根据每立方米水体培育1 000～1 500尾苗种(体长为5～6 cm)的生产规模来制订的。
Arowana farming requires clean water pollution and low water temperature. A few of the lakes, rivers, reservoirs and mountain streams that are lean in water quality and of low basic productivity can be cultivated for sweetfish. Artificial conditions, the young sweet fish (5 ~ 6cm) after 5 to 7 months of feeding, the general weight of up to 100 g or more. In recent years, the market price of sweet fish is high, and the production of sweetfish farming gradually develops. The seedling raising techniques described below are based on the production scale of 1000-1,500 tail seedlings (body length of 5-6 cm) per cubic meter of water body.
