今年的12月1日是第16个世界艾滋病日,卫生部公布了宣传主题:“相互关爱,共享生命”。艾滋病是人类共同的敌人,给人民的身体健康和生命安全带来严重威胁。不久前,我们对艾滋病的威胁还在喊“狼来了”,但是如今“狼”真的来了。据报道,目前我国艾滋病流行形势已非常严峻,不容忽视。为此,本期特邀汤新国教授组写了一组文章,以飨读者。艾滋病(获得性免疫缺陷综合征,acguiredimmunodefi-ciencysyndrome,AIDS),由人类免疫缺陷病毒(humanim-munodeficiencyvirus,HIV,艾滋病病毒)感染引起,导致被感染者免疫功能的部分或完全丧失,CD4+T细胞数目减少,继而发生机会性感染、肿瘤等。该病传播速度快、病死率高,且目前无法治愈。
