砖结构在给水工程中的运用已逐渐增加。除水源井、检查井、水塔支座等早已採用以外,其他如水池及水塔的水柜等主要工程也开始採用砖结构。由于给水工程的特点砖結构的采用与一般房屋建筑的要求有很大区别。特别在水池结构中,砖砌体的作用主要不是承压而是抗拉,同时要求防水性能良好。因此,在给水主要工程中正确采用砖結构的問題便不是一个一般的問題了。几年来我院曾对砖水池进行了一些重点的調查研究工作,同时也参观了商业部一些砖砌油池的施工,今年4月我院調查小組还深入大包线施工点,收集资料。初步了解了目前我国砖水池的施工技术水平。此外,
