This article discusses the wheel-rail contact conditions, sliding and force on the contact surface, and the wheel’s movement. The simulation program to analyze the movement of rolling stock and the results of the set test of its running status are introduced. Also describes the arc tread and radial positioning bogie principle and characteristics.
