Researching on the official seals of Kin Dynasty has always been an important topic in academic field On the basis of studying the seals inscribed with the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches,the author comes to the following conclusions:1 Most of the seals inscribed with the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches are military seals 2 All the seals inscribed with the Heavenly stems and Earthly Branches were made in the late Kin Dynasty,from Xuanzong moving to south to the end of the Kin Dynasty 3 None of the seals inscribed with the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches was made by the Board of Rites,the Central Goverment,but the local goverment or the temporary organization sent by the Central Goverment
