钱冠连教授是我国著名语言学家、外语界西方语言哲学的领航者。他是我国最先在国外语用学刊物Pragmatics上发表文章的学者之一。他的很多论文与专著被《新华文摘》、《中国学术年鉴》、《教育部中国哲学社会科学发展报告》、《中国人民大学资料中心》、《高校文科学报文摘》等刊物复印、转载、介绍或评述。其中,《汉语文化语用学》和《语言:人类最后的家园——人类基本生存状态的哲学与语用学研究》分别获广东省哲学社会科学优秀成果三等奖和一等奖。季羡林先生盛赞钱教授的理论发现为“前无古人的精辟见解”。钱先生研精覃思,励学笃行,其《美学语言学》、《语言全息论》充满了创新和智慧。钱先生说人生有三宝:快乐、智慧、创造力。“活得干净远比活得辉煌更有意义。窃以为,保持住人性不扭曲与内心的宁静,是要不要去争取一份利益的最后取舍标准”。钱先生连续主持六届中西语言哲学夏日书院学术讲座,首创公益模式,是学术传承的善举,其宁静致远的胸怀和厚德敏行的情操令后学感佩和学习。在下文中我们亦能领略钱先生“精骛八极,心游万仞”、“观古今於须臾,抚四海於一瞬”的学术风采。
Professor Qian Guanlian is a famous linguist in China and a leader of western language philosophy in the field of foreign languages. He is one of the first Chinese scholars to publish articles in the foreign language pragmatics publication Pragmatics. Many of his dissertations and monographs have been photocopied, reproduced and introduced by Xinhua Digest, China Academic Yearbook, Report of Chinese Ministry of Education on the Development of Chinese Philosophy and Social Sciences, Information Center of Renmin University of China, and Digest of Liberal Arts Papers of Colleges and Universities Or comment. Among them, “Chinese culture pragmatics” and “language: the last homeland of mankind - the philosophical and pragmatic study of the basic living conditions of mankind” respectively won the third prize and the first prize of Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Guangdong Province. Mr. Ji Xianlin praised Professor Qian’s theory for “unprecedented insight”. Mr. Qian Jing Tan, Reeducation-line, its “Aesthetics Linguistics”, “Language Holography” is full of innovation and wisdom. Mr. Qian said that there are treasures in life: happiness, wisdom and creativity. “Live more clean than living a lot more sense .Thought to maintain humanity does not distort and inner peace, is to go for a benefit of the final selection criteria ”. Mr. Qian continuously presided over six academic lectures held by the Summer School of Chinese and Western Philosophy of Language and pioneered the public welfare model, which is a good act of academic succession. His sentiments of peace, tranquility and Hou Demin’s conduct make the post-school feel and learn. In the following, we can also appreciate the academic style of Mr. Qian, “fine 骛 octogenarian, wandering Wan 仞”, “ancient and modern concept of Xu 臾, Fu Si universal in a flash”.
