本实验用家兔14只,在下丘脑前部的视交叉上核(SCN)微量注射牛胰多肽(BPP),用玻璃微电极引导中脑导水管周围灰质(PAG)神经元的放电变化。在SCN注射2微克BPP后,所记录的42个单位中,放电增加呈兴奋反应的有31个(占74%),放电减少呈抑制反应的有7个(占17%),无反应者4个(占9%)。而且兴奋和抑制反应点主要集中在PAG腹外侧区神经元。从本实验结果提示,SCN存在对BPP敏感的神经元;SCN与PAG腹外侧区神经元之间存在机能上的联系。
In this experiment, 14 rabbits were injected with bovine pancreatic polypeptide (BPP) in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the hypothalamus (SCN), and the discharge of neurons in the periaqueductal gray (PAG) neurons was guided by glass microelectrode. Among the 42 units recorded after SCN injection of 2 micrograms of BPP, 31 (74%) showed an increase in discharge and 7 (17%) showed an inhibitory response to discharge, and none of responders A (9%). Moreover, the excitatory and inhibitory reaction sites mainly focus on the neurons in the ventral part of PAG. The results from this study suggest that there are BPN-sensitive neurons in SCN and that there is a functional relationship between SCN and neurons in the ventral lateral region of PAG.
