从当前我区的英语教学的发展水平分析来看,与目前的社会发展和九年义务大纲对听说能力的要求相差甚远。不少地方的英语教师因环境和自身素质等诸多因素的影响,教学观念和教学方法相当滞后,更无力顾及到英语教学中的突出环节,无法解决教学中各个环节的之间的矛盾,这直接影响了英语教学质量的提高,更重要的是学生的听、说能力始终提不上去。各校各级英语教师应把提高学生的听说能力当作目前外语教学中的主要问题来抓。各校领导也应重视这一问题。怎样能够快速提高学生的“听说”能力,解决教学过程中的各种矛盾呢?笔者通过对一些学校的走访和了解,对此谈谈个人的看法:
From the current analysis of the development level of English teaching in our district, it is far from the requirement of the current social development and nine-year compulsory outline for listening and speaking ability. In many local English teachers, due to the influence of many factors, such as the environment and their own quality, teaching concepts and teaching methods lag behind, and they are even less able to take into account the outstanding links in English teaching and cannot solve the conflicts between various links in teaching. Affecting the improvement of English teaching quality, what’s more important is that students’ ability to listen and speak is always unresolved. English teachers at all levels should take the improvement of students’ listening and speaking abilities as the main problems in foreign language teaching. School leaders should also pay attention to this issue. How can we quickly improve the students’ ability to “hear and speak” and solve various conflicts in the teaching process?
