一、小学英语教师素质亟待提高总体来讲,当前小学英语教师的年龄结构已逐步趋于合理,大多数为四十岁以下的年轻教师,但存在的问题还有很多。譬如,男女教师的比例失衡,尤其体现在小学英语学科。握有关方面调查显示,小学英语男教师比例只占百分之三点几,这无论对于英语学科还是整个的小学教育来讲都是不利的,具体到语音教学方面,学生只能体会到女教师英语口语,而对男教师英语口语显然积淀不够。
