The professional development of teachers is the key to improve the quality of vocational education in counties. The Professional Standards for Secondary Vocational School Teachers (Trial Version) (Teacher [2013] No. 12) issued by the Ministry of Education in 2013 set the basic requirements for the professional qualifications of teachers in secondary vocational schools. This document has not only become the basic guideline for leading the professional development of teachers in secondary vocational schools, but also the basic basis for the construction of teachers’ ranks in secondary vocational schools.
