一、概述对地震波震相到时的测量是测震工作的重要工作内容基础之一。提高其测量的精度是提高测震水平重要的一环,例如波速比的测定对此精度有相当高的要求。影响这项测量的最大误差来源是时间服务系统的精度。目前在区域地震台网中广泛使用的“滚筒自动对时法”消除了“人工对时法”中人为的操作的误差和钟面指针位差,较之能给出较准确的时间改正数,但由于受到滚筒转速与记录线条粗细等因素的影响和限制,在正常转速下,这种方法的对时精度一般只能达到0.1S。在此精度下,使台站难以对石英钟进行精细的频率调整
