From 2015 to 2017, the Daimler Art Collection focuses on three recent exhibitions, “Chinese Contemporary and International Art Collection”. This kind of juxtaposition is appropriate, so that Chinese art is placed in the context of global art development rather than in isolation. As the second exhibition in this series, the exhibition focuses on sculptures and photography based on the navigation book attached to the exhibition. Cao Fei’s video work “La Town” has become one of the most prominent works in the whole exhibition with an open concept.
