Approved by the State Council (“Reply of the State Council on Agreed to Establish Zhoushan Jianghai Intermodal Service Center” (Guohan [2016] No. 72)), the highly-acclaimed Zhoushan Jianghai Intermodality Service Center was formally established. According to the reply, Zhoushan Jianghai Intermodal Service Center covers the whole area of Zhoushan Islands New Area and the Beilun, Zhenhai, Jiangdong and Jiangbei areas of Ningbo, with land area of about 2,500 square kilometers and sea area of about 21,000 square kilometers. In its reply, the State Council made it clear that the strategic location of the Jianghai Intermodal Service Center in Zhoushan is unique. The deep-water port is rich in resources and has obvious advantages in the service of Jianghai-Shanghai intermodal transport. The reserve tranche of commodities transit bases
