兼书说至有清王筠而大备,本文即以王筠六书体系为例考察兼书说的根由。穷尽式考察《说文释例》和《文字蒙求》所有例字后,归纳出王筠四书体系包括正例、变例,总计40余条。根据王筠四书的概念界定,其正例不兼书,16条兼书存在于变例之中。从王筠对四书变例的概念界定看,这些兼书的存在是必然的、合理的。采用出土古文字考察,以指事字为例,得出结论:古文字的引入不能根本性地改变兼书的实质。

Judging from Wang Jun’s definition of the four books, the existence of these two books is inevitable and reasonable. Unearthed ancient text inspected, with the finger thing as an example, concluded: the introduction of ancient writing can not fundamentally change the essence of both books.
