针对目前对“新诗主体论”的怀疑,谢冕认为,古典的方式不可能适应现代的生活,新诗依然是而且始终是表现现代生活和现代情感的最适宜的方式。朱寿桐认为,汉语新诗的主体地位有其必然性,它是经过较长时间摸索建设起来的一种新型诗歌。谭五昌认为,“新诗否定论”本身有其逻辑错误。周晓风、程小诗认为,旧体诗的语言制约了诗歌表达而导致了言文分离,只有新诗才是现代诗歌创作的主体。李永东认为,新诗主体论本身是有限度的,应该辩证对待。
In the light of the current doubts about “the theory of new poetry subject”, Xie Mian believes that the classical approach can not adapt to modern life. New poetry is and always is the most appropriate way to express the modern life and the modern emotion. Zhu Shou-tung believes that the dominant position of new Chinese poetry has its own inevitability. It is a new type of poem built after a long period of exploration. Tan Wuchang believes that “the theory of negative poetry ” itself has its own logic error. Zhou Xiaofeng and Cheng Xiaoshi believe that the language of the old-style poetry restricts the expression of poetry and leads to the separation of speech and text. Only the new poetry is the main body of modern poetry. Li Yongdong believes that the new poetry subjectivity itself is limited and should be treated dialectically.
