举世瞩目的′98中国国际航空航天博览会于1998年11月15日～22日在珠海隆重举行,来自中国、美国、英国、法国等25个国家和地区的480家航空航天厂商参加了本届航展,世界排名前20名的航空航天厂商全部到齐,另有土耳其政府代表团、10多个外军代表团和22个国家的45位武官前来参观、洽谈。来自中国、英国、加拿大、俄罗斯等国家的飞行表演队展示了其高超的飞行技巧。本届航展是一次集飞行表演、实物展示、技术交流和经贸洽谈于一体的航空航天界的盛会。专业观众达5万人次,公众观众达100万人次。
