陆俭明(2003)提出“NP+的+VP”结构中“的”具有名词性特征,受到一些学者的质疑。本文首先根据“NP+的+VP”的特点,把该结构扩展到“XP1+的+XP2”结构,并用排除归纳法证明“的”在这一结构具有名词性的原因,同时对“的”名词性特征的来历做了解释。接着把“XP1+的+XP2”结构类推到几种内部没有语义关系的结构,进一步证明“的”的名词性。“的”字结构说突破了汉语语法研究中形式与意义对应的传统观念,倡导形式与功能对应的新观念,这给认识形式与意义不对应的句法结构提供了新的思路,富有启发性。
