喷头(又称为喷灌器)是喷灌机与喷灌系统的主要组成部分。它的作用是把有压的集中水流喷射到空中,散成细小的水滴并均匀地散布在它所控制的灌溉面积上,因此喷头的结构形式及其制造质量的好坏直接影响喷灌的质量。喷头的种类很多,按其工作压力及控制范围的大小可分为低压喷头(或称近射程喷头),中压喷头(或称中射程喷头)和高压喷头(或称远射程喷头),这种分类目前还没有明确的划分界限,但大致可以按表1所列的范围分类。目前用得最多的是中射程喷头,这是由于它消耗的功率小而且比较容易得到较好的喷灌质量.
