I. Foreword Collapsible loess has macropores and collapsibility and is wetted by water under a certain pressure, and additional sinking occurs rapidly on the foundation soil. Measures must be taken to build houses and various works on loess grounds to prevent collapsible damage to buildings. These measures include foundation treatment, waterproofing and structural measures. Collapsible loess foundation treatment methods are the hammer ram surface compaction, soil exchange method, pile foundation and prepreg water method and so on.
