陶瓷作为一种材料,之前只是单单在陶土、瓷土、釉、水、火的交融变幻中演绎着其本身的材料语言。而今,陶瓷不仅是材料,而且以一种特别的艺术形式开始介入人们的生活,给予人们精神领域更广泛、更深层的关照。特别是在材料的使用上,随着科技的进步,陶瓷设计工作者在挖掘陶瓷材料本身语言特征,完美诠释泥、火、釉的艺术魅力的同时,开始大胆地引入其它材料媒介(如玻璃、金属、木材、竹子、多媒体技术等等),在综合材料中自由地抒发着他们对于这个世界的认知。
