Rutgers University in the United States invented a new medical imaging method that detects other lesions earlier than existing methods and is faster and does not require a longer time-consuming biopsy. This nanotechnology can diagnose tiny cancerous lesions and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in the human body and has great potential to save human life. Early experiments by researchers at the School of Pharmacy and Engineering at Rutgers University have seen the dawn of the technology’s success. Rutgers University scientists published the research results in the “Nature Communications” magazine. Prabhas Moghe, the project’s research leader, said the new fluorescence imaging model aims not only at detecting early lesions but also at understanding the lesions more carefully before surgery.
