江风扑面,白浪排空。新世纪的第一个春天,因参加一个民兵舟桥军事演练,我又一次来到洞庭湖边。湖上学军,除了现场会上直接观看新的“雁翎队”编队开进的雄姿,感受“召之即来,来之能战,战之能胜”一专多能的威力,会后还在湖区周围寻找那消失了的烽火硝烟,力图从历史深处汲得经验和智慧。这一回,历史无情,我找到一页最为沉重、惨痛的往事,被带进“故国不堪回首”的悲情之中。洞庭湖畔的厂窖垸,是个三面临水的美丽的半岛。这个平静的水乡给人们带来的是耕种的忙碌和乡村的欢乐。然而在58年前的5月,也即1943年的5月,这里发生了一起仅次于南京大屠杀的第二大惨
