我曾在红海的门户亚丁工作过多年,每当我回想起那里的日日夜夜,记忆的荧光屏上就显现出湛蓝的海水,游弋的船舶,独特的风光和亚丁市人民热情友好的笑脸。亚丁,在阿拉伯语中被释为“伊甸园”,这美妙的名字,令人想起那个古老的神话,这里原来就是亚当和夏娃被贬下世居住的那个花园吗?不难想象,当年的亚丁是何等的美丽!史料记载,远古时与非洲大陆连为一体的阿拉伯半岛,森林茂密,水草丰盛,繁花似绵,生机盎然。由于地壳的变动,红海和亚丁湾大断裂把非洲和阿拉伯半岛一刀两断,亚丁的自然风貌从此也发生了巨大的变化……
I have worked in Aden, the gateway to the Red Sea for many years. Whenever I recall the days and nights there, the blue screen, the cruising ship, the unique scenery and the warm and friendly smile of the people of Aden show up on the memory screen. Aden, pronounced “Garden of Eden” in Arabic, is this wonderful name reminiscent of that ancient myth, where was the garden where Adam and Eve were relegated? It is not hard to imagine that Aden What a beautiful! Historical records, the ancient continent with the African continent as one of the Arabian Peninsula, dense forests, rich plants, flowers like cotton, full of vitality.
