DDR(Double Data Rate)内存对于很多读者来说并不是一个非常陌生的词汇,在我们以往对中高端显示卡的介绍中,DDR(显存)给显示卡带来的性能提升是有目共睹的。通过在一个时钟周期中的上、下沿两次传输数据,DDR在理论上使数据的传输带宽得到了倍增。例如我们通常所使用的PC133 SDRAM的带宽是1.06GBps,那么采用相同频率工作的DDR内存,我们就可以得到2.1GBps的峰值带宽。目前我们在市场上能够买到的DDR内存为PC1600和PC2100两种,其中PC1600实际工作频率为100MHz,峰值带宽为1.6GBps。PC2100的实际工作频率为133MHz,2.1GBps的带宽使得它将逐步成为市场的主流产品。
