番茄色泽艳丽,多汁味美,营养丰富,是我国人民主食蔬菜之一。目前生产中常见的有大红、粉红,桔红三种颜色。同样是番茄,为什么果实颜色不一样呢?其实这种现象普遍存在于植物界中。玉米籽粒有黄色、白色、红色,高粱籽粒有红色、白色,鲜花的颜色更是丰富多彩,究其原因,应从遗传物质中去寻找。
