罗蒂把客观性说成一致性 ,企图根本否认真理的客观性。针对这种观点 ,本文从客观性与语言、客观性与历史性、客观性与发展三个方面对罗蒂进行了反驳。本文指出 ,首先 ,世界存在是一个基本事实 ,并不属于语言哲学的范畴。其次 ,人诚然具有社会历史性 ,但人对世界的正确认识却不局限于自己的时代。第三 ,强调客观性不仅不会妨碍真理的发展 ,相反恰恰是真理发展的保证 Rorty makes objectivity coherent, in an attempt to deny the objectivity of truth at all.
