通过对静止同步补偿器(STATCOM)换流过程的分析,提出当STATCOM工作角度超前于系统电压时,可以用晶闸管代替可关断器件,实现可吸收无功功率的基于晶闸管的STATCOM。文中构建了12脉晶闸管STATCOM样机装置,并设计了基于现场可编程逻辑器件和数字信号处理器的数字控制器,以提供高精度晶闸管触发脉冲,满足样机装置触发要求。样机实验验证了晶闸管STATCOM的可行性,实验结果表明,基于晶闸管的STATCOM在其工作范围内能吸收连续可调无功功率,装置工作电流谐波小,具备了普通STATCOM装置的优点,可用于电力系统无功补偿领域。
Through the analysis of commutation process of STATCOM, it is proposed that thyristor can be used instead of the turn-off device when the working angle of STATCOM leads the system voltage to realize thyristor-based STATCOM which can absorb reactive power. In this paper, a 12-pulse thyristor STATCOM prototype device is constructed and a digital controller based on field programmable logic device and digital signal processor is designed to provide high-precision thyristor trigger pulse to meet the trigger requirements of a prototype device. The prototype experiment verifies the feasibility of thyristor STATCOM. The experimental results show that the thyristor-based STATCOM can absorb continuously adjustable reactive power in its working range, and the operating current harmonics of the device is small. It has the advantages of ordinary STATCOM device and can be used for power System reactive power compensation field.
