《活着》这部在生与死的缱绻和决绝中叙写如何自在自为地活着,小说在从暴力、血腥、灾难等角度渲染死亡的同时,小说中的季节偏向也显而易见。余华对于秋夏两季的偏向绝非偶然为之,季节偏向在继承中国文学传统、深化作品的“受难”意识、建构小说文本、反衬故事氛围等方面都具有不可替代的作用。
“Alive” is a vivid description of how to live comfortably in life and death. In the novel, the seasonal bias in the novel is obvious at the same time when it is rendered violent, bloody, and disastrous. It is no accident that Yu Hua’s preference for the fall and winter seasons is seasonal. The seasonal bias plays an irreplaceable role in inheriting the Chinese literary tradition, deepening the work’s awareness of “suffering,” constructing the text of the novel, and reversing the atmosphere of the story.
