受民国书法大环境影响,尚碑、崇金石成为民国时期女性书法的重要特征之一,作品风格呈现出刚健、雄浑、遒美的特征。本文以萧娴、游寿书法风格为例,对典型的女性“道美”书风予以探讨,论述其“遒美”书风成因,揭示女性由于社会地位的改变,对书法审美取向及其发展方面的影响。一、女性书法与民国社会古代女性书法家由于各种社会因素,表现在书法艺术上对书体的选择及相应的风格追求都显得较为单一。从传世的作品来看,闺阁型女书家,以小楷或小行楷为主,风格以娟秀、柔美者居多。
